"The wars of the 21st Century demand new approaches – in government, national policy, communications, law enforcement and business – as well as within the armed forces. The Marine Corps University is moving to a leadership position in these important studies that are generally neglected by the civilian academic institutions. This requires significant support that cannot be provided by the government. The Marine Corps University Foundation is providing that support."
