The Major General John H. Russell Leadership Award is named in honor of the 16th Commandant of the Marine Corps. It is presented annually at the Foundation’s Leadership Award Luncheon to a former Marine whose commitment to personal and professional excellence embodies those qualities of leadership and character uniquely associated with the United States Marine Corps.
